2026 Aloe Festival

Thanks so much to everyone who came out and joined us at the 2026 Aloe Festival at Impala Bend in Ashburton! We loved seeing so many people enjoying the day, exploring and supporting our wonderful market stalls, getting up close at the live snake show, watching the impressive K9 display, and taking part in the guided walk. Your enthusiasm, support, and community spirit made the festival a fantastic success, and we truly appreciate everyone who helped make it such a memorable day. We can’t wait to welcome you back next year!

At around 15h00 each day, Impala, Nyala and other wildlife appear for feeding time at Impala Bend. This is an amazing experience, and includes beautiful surroundings and views.

Our garden is filled with beautiful aloes and bird life. Aloes are a very important food source to many birds, providing nectar to sunbirds, orioles, bulbuls and many other birds; many birds also eat the flowers. Larger plants are also favoured for nesting sites.
